What is Edison Charge and Go?
Charge and Go is Edison's recharging network that allows you to install and manage your own recharging systems, contributing to the e-mobility revolution and transforming the recharging service into a source of income for the manager of the charge points.
What can I do with Edison Charge and Go?
Through the Edison Charge and Go platform you can recharge your electric vehicle at Edison public charging points throughout Italy. In addition, if you are the manager of the charging points, you can check at any time the status of your charging points, set the rates for charging your users and collect the proceeds of charging.
How do I recharge?
Simple:
- Scan the QR code that you find on board the column or wallbox
- From your smartphone, select an outlet and enter the payment details. Make sure the pop-ups in your browser are enabled
- Upon confirmation of payment, plug in your vehicle. Charging will start automatically!
- To stop charging before the end, enter the 4-digit PIN code that you receive on your smartphone on the display of the column
I cannot scan the QR code. Can I still recharge?
If you cannot make the payment on your smartphone, make sure that the pop-ups of your browser are enabled
Do I need to install an APP? Do I need to sign up for the Charge and Go platform?
No, it is not necessary to install an APP. To top up, you can register with the Edison Charge and Go platform, taking advantage of more advantageous rates and dedicated functions such as the booking and balance of top-ups, or you can proceed as an anonymous user
How much does the recharge cost?
There is a charge per kWh and a charge for the parking time at the end of the recharge. By scanning the QR code and selecting a socket you can see the exact rates for the selected socket
Is the cost of charging the same for all outlets?
No. The cost depends on the maximum power output and the rates set by each operator.
Is it possible to request an invoice for the service?
Yes, just request it with your smartphone when you enter the payment details
After how long will I receive the invoice?
The operator of the recharge point will send you the invoice by e-mail to the address you have indicated within a few days of the recharge
I din't receive the invoice, who can I contact?
If you do not receive your invoice within 14 days of recharging, you can contact Charge and Go customer service or the operator of the recharge point
How do I stop charging and unlock the cable?
Upon confirmation of charging, you will receive a 4-digit PIN code. To stop charging and unlock the charging cable before the end, select the socket in use on the column display and enter the PIN code we have provided. When the vehicle is fully charged, the charging process will automatically end
Is it possible to view the balance of the recharges carried out? Where can I view it?
Yes. If you are a registered user, after logging in you can see the balance of your top-ups by accessing the "Top-ups" area
Is it possible to export the data of my recharges? How long are they available?
The data are recorded for at least one year on the platform; they can be exported at any time in csv format by accessing the "Recharge" area
Is it possible to book a recharge?
Yes. If you are a registered user after logging in you can book a socket in this way:
- Go to the "stations" area and select a station on the map; a pop-up will open
- Click on "book here" at the bottom of the pop-up and select a socket among those available
- The outlet will remain reserved for 20 minutes
Is it possible to view the final balance of bookings made? Where can I view it?
Yes. If you are a registered user, after having logged in you can consult the final balance of the bookings made by accessing the "Bookings" section
Is it possible to cancel a reservation?
Yes. If you are a registered user, after having logged in you can cancel a reservation in progress by accessing the "Reservations" section and clicking on "cancel" on the line corresponding to the reservation
What happens if I don't reach the charging point within the maximum time allowed?
The column becomes available again and it is possible to make a new reservation or a recharge
When I reach the charging point, can I choose a different socket from the one I booked?
Even if you have booked a socket, when you arrive you can select any socket among those available
Can I install a Charge and Go network charging station in my company/community/structure?

I am the operator of a Charge and Go charging point. How can I check my charging points?
After logging in, enter the "Management" area of the platform. There you can access all the functions to control your charging infrastructure, for example:
- Check the consumption and the balance of the recharges
- Set the service rates for users
- Issue and manage coupons and discount vouchers
- Verify in real time the status of the columns
- Manage the power supplied
- ...And much more!
What is the Stations section/function used for?
In the Stations section you can find the nearest public access Charge and Go station on the map and book it
How do I store / edit / delete my payment details?
You can store your payment details securely and immediately: if you are a logged in user, at the first payment made you will be asked if you want to store your payment details for future transitions, so as to make the recharge even more immediate. You can change your payment details with each subsequent recharge, or delete them at any time by accessing the "Profile" section
How can I delete my account? How can I unsubscribe?
You can request the removal of your account by writing to chargeandgo@edisonspa.it
